Tableau — Conditional Formatting Hide Zeros

In case you’re wondering how to hide zero values in Tables in Tableau, the easiest way to do it as indicated in the tableau user community forum would be to

  1. Click on the column in the table that you’d like to format
  2. Choose Custom and then enter ##
  3. This would hide the zero values in the tables

But in case you need to do additional formatting as a currency as well, apply the formatting that you’d like first by applying them eg: currency € sign etc

And then go into the custom format option, where the formatting that you chose is pre-filled. Just add the “#” at the end after the semi-colon “;”
